X-rays are non-invasive tests and are the most common type of imaging. General X-ray includes all X-rays taken to help provide physicians with the information they need to properly diagnose health conditions.
X-rays scan various areas of the body, including chest, bones, joints, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and kidneys.

How Do I Prepare for My Exam?
Most X-Rays do not require any special preparation, although you may be asked to remove jewellery, glasses, and any other metal objects that could interfere with the images. In some cases, there may be food and fluid restrictions. Your doctor will give you specific instructions on how to prepare.
